Search your phone number and common name variations, then record each profile URL and the fields exposed. Avoid submitting extra personal data to a removal form unless the provider explains why it is necessary.
Use the provider’s official privacy, unlisting, suppression, or opt-out route rather than a link copied from an unsolicited message. The FTC notes that people-search data can appear across multiple services, so one request may not cover every listing.
Follow the provider-specific workflow
Radaris has an official privacy-control route, with an independent February 2026 walkthrough that reported approval and no exact deletion deadline. VeriPages has an official route, and a January 2026 independent walkthrough observed email confirmation, a stated 72-hour window, and removal in under 24 hours.
Truecaller states that unlisting may take up to 24 hours. Whitepages and ThatsThem publish suppression or opt-out routes, but this research did not verify completion time or outcome for those services.
Save confirmation and check again
Keep the request date, profile URL, confirmation email, case number, and provider-stated window. Recheck the exact profile after that window and follow the official escalation path if the record remains visible.
A completed removal may not delete the underlying government or directory source, stop future reappearance, or prevent someone from spoofing your number. Review exposure periodically and secure accounts separately.
