Our source hierarchy

Official product pages, policies, app-store listings, and government records are preferred for current claims. Independent sources are used for observed workflows or limitations and remain labeled with their date and scope.

Company-authored third-party profiles are treated as company claims. Search snippets, copied lists, anonymous testimonials, and unsourced marketing summaries do not upgrade an unknown fact.

What a useful correction report includes

Send the affected URL, exact sentence or data point, reason it appears wrong, and a direct source with its publication or observation date. Screenshots can preserve a changing interface, but a live official URL is preferable when available.

The local preview has no confirmed public editorial inbox, so no contact address is invented here. A real correction channel must be added before publication and tested end to end.

How a correction is processed

The editor checks the source, labels its evidence type, records the old and new fact, and determines whether a criterion changes. Dependent review, ranking, comparison, and guide copy is then updated from the same ledger.

The visible reviewed date changes only after the correction is saved and verified. Disputed facts remain qualified or unknown until adequate evidence resolves them.
